| Description: Cold Process Soap Making - Thursday July 31, 6:30-9:00pm. Instructor: Patti Lawn. Learn the basics of making cold-process soap (Lye Soap/ Vegetable based) from scratch. Students will learn about the process, tools and ingredients including lye, fixed oils, fragrance oils, essential oils, micas, oxides, and natural colorants. Then join your instructor, Patti, around the soap pot to make a batch of soap. This class is approximately 2.5 hours long and students will take home at least 2 bars of colorful, handmade soap made at the class, as well as an information booklet. Please wear comfortable clothing making sure that your arms are covered. Cost: $45 includes all materials. Members receive an additional 10 % discount. |
