Description:

LIGHT” The theme of the next CVAA group show, is ‘LIGHT”. It is an exciting choice to make for many of us, to show light in whatever our medium is. Moonlight, Sunlight, Starlight, Reflections of light, Moving out of darkness to light, Lightning strikes, Northern Lights, ? Abstract, realism, mixed media, collage, fabric art, wood, stone, marble, alabaster, glass, clay, watercolours, oils, acrylics, the choice is bewildering, so, the answer is, we ourselves don’t know! We can’t tell you how each artist will choose to portray light as he or she sees it. That is why we are inviting you to come to the O’Connor Group Art Gallery in the Chilliwack Cultural Centre, 9201 Corbould Street and see for yourselves when the exhibit is actually on the walls. Enjoy, and be surprised and amazed with the quality and diversity of the talent displayed, from June 29th until August, 5th, Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 12 noon until 5 , and from 6.30 to 7.30 on some theatre evenings before your other show begins. No tickets needed for the Gallery , entry is free. Come to the Meet the Artists Reception on Saturday, 8th July, from 1 to 3 pm!
