The objective of this Project is to complete Groundwater Model Update for the City’s main water supply source of Sardis Vedder Aquifer. The Groundwater Model Update will encompass updating capture zones for all production wells in the Sardis-Vedder aquifer, time of travel (TOT) zones for each well, intersection of well capture zones / TOTs with possible sources of contamination, potential impacts of climate change on the productivity of the aquifer, updating the 1997 groundwater protection plan/2001 contaminant inventory and expanding it to include a groundwater management plan which would include an understanding of the impacts of the Water Sustainability Act (WSA) on the City’s groundwater operations. |
