Civil and electrical engineering detailed design for implementation of active transportation improvements adding to improve cycling facilities and safety in a cost-effective manner.
Bridge Inspection Program
Bridge inspections are required to be completed by a qualified bridge inspection engineer to visually inspect each of the City's bridges including ancillary structures.
Chilliwack River Road - Active Transportation Infrastructure
The City of Chilliwack and Tzeachten First Nation jointly applied to the BC government for Active Transportation grant funding. The project will include a multi-use pathway, a rectangular rapid flashing beacon and improvements to drainage and streetlighting.

Culvert Projects
Culvert replacements and upgrades are needed to avoid failures that could cause costly repairs and interruptions to traffic. Culvert failures can cause damage to the surrounding riparian environment.
Emergency Sewage Outfall Repair
Emergency sewage outfall repair was contracted to Jakes Construction and work is planned to begin at the end of January. Environmental monitoring will take place throughout.

Mary Street Corridor Improvements (Hodgins Ave to Wellington Ave)
Improvements will include buffered bike lanes, an RRFB installation at Kipp Avenue, conversion of angled parking to parallel parking and new LED lighting.
