Chilliwack Firefighters Charitable Society
The Chilliwack Firefighters Charitable Society was registered in 2005 with the BC Provincial Government in Victoria and the following year was registered with the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency, and can issue donation receipts for Income Tax purposes.
We currently have approximately 150 members from six fire halls, comprising of both Career and Paid-on-Call staff, who volunteer their time to organize and attend fundraising events to raise money for our community.
There are no paid positions in our society, allowing us to donate over 95% of monies raised back to the community. So far, we've raised over $90,000.
