On July 21st just before 9:00 a.m. Chilliwack RCMP was called to the 43000-block of Progress Way after receiving a report of a shooting.

Auto theft suspect arrested by Mounties
An investigation by RCMP officers led to the arrest of a Chilliwack man and the recovery of a stolen vehicle and property.

IHIT investigating overnight stabbing that left two dead
Chilliwack: On July 8, 2017 just after 10:00 p.m. the Chilliwack RCMP responded to a report of an altercation at the corner of Young Road and Yale road. When police arrived, they located three victims, all of which had suffered stab wounds. Two of the three victims succumbed to their injuries, and the altercation was deemed a double homicide. As such, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) took conduct.
