The Chilliwack Creative Commission was formed in 1999 in response to a growing demand from the film industry for attractive film locations in the Fraser Valley. Chilliwack has often been chosen as a great location for some very well-known films and commercials. Chilliwack’s downtown area has often at times even been the scene in television and movie productions, with the very core being transformed to meet production requirements. The City of Chilliwack encourages the film industry in our community and endeavours to facilitate what the industry may need through the Chilliwack Creative Commission – a subsidiary of the Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation.
